What was once a small broker-dealer located in North Carolina; DeWaay Financial Network began its journey toward prominence in 2006. After being re-located to central Iowa, the fledgling enterprise received a shot of adrenaline when some of the most respected and seasoned securities professionals in the country were hired to give the new firm its unique personality. Necessary paperwork was filed with the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) allowing DeWaay Financial Network opened its doors for business on Sept. 8, 2006.
The establishment of DFN offers registered representatives the opportunity to explore products that are not off-the-rack solutions and to embrace a different way to conduct business. Registered Representatives, who may feel restrained because of their current broker-dealer environment, should take some time to consider their alternatives as well as their clients.
